Micropigmentation Enhnace your Natural Beauty

Micropigmentation (also known as Semi-Permanent Make-up), is a cosmetic treatment used to accentuate female or male natural features. Whether you have over plucked brows, scaring through the brow or sadly lost hair through illness, Micropigmentation can give you back the confidence you deserve.

The Procedure

An initial consultation is booked prior to the treatment, here we can discuss your expectations and give advise on the best technique to use whether it be hair-strokes, powder/ombre brow or a combination of the two.

We also discuss before and aftercare and answer any further questions you may have.

Following the consultation a patch test is advised and carried out 24/48 hours before the treatment.

All "GoldenEye" pigments are medically graded. They contain no heavy metals or nickel, they are vegan friendly and they are not tested on animals. A reaction to these pigments is very unlikely but a patch test is carried out just to be 100% sure.

Now we are ready for the next exciting stage of the procedure. The initial treatment session lasts between 2-3 hours and photographs (with your permission) are taken before and after. We then begin by mapping out the shape of your new brows and this process can take up the most time as it is very important that we are both 100% happy before we continue.

Next comes pigment choice, here we take into account your skin tone and your hair colour to determine the best option and this is something you are very much involved in too.

Now we are ready to begin the tattoo process. Using a fine, sterile needle, pigment is implanted into the skin and your new brows begins to take shape.

The treatment gives minimal discomfort as numbing creams are administered before and during the procedure. Once the tattoo is complete and after photographs have been taken its time to reveal your new brows and go through your aftercare.

Slight redness, swelling and tenderness is expected and completely normal but this will subside after a couple of days.

Scabbing will occur over the next few days and the brows will initially look darker as this happens but once they naturally come away your natural looking brow is revealed.

At around 6-8 weeks we ask you to come back for a follow up appointment, which is included in the initial price. This is to check your brows have healed well, the pigment has taken and most importantly that your happy with the finished look. If any areas need added attention then this will be done during the appointment and aftercare given as before.

In order to keep your brows looking their best it is advised to book a "Top-up"appointment around 12-18 months after your initial treatment. Here we can rework the shape, colour or simply enhance what is already there.
